REAP Street is a pop up arts fest, and is currently accepting applications for participating art performances and installation from artists engaged in new and experimental work.
The event will be held on Saturday, September 21 from 3-7 PM in hidden and visible spaces along a 3-block stretch of Broad Street in Windsor, CT.
REAP Street celebrates new and experimental arts in a variety of settings in Connecticut’s oldest town merging the old with the new, and to expose artists and their work to the general population. REAP is looking for performance art, art and sound installations, new music, or something truly out of the ordinary. The work should be must be engaging, possibly interactive in some way, makes sense with the surrounding environment, rated family-friendly and interesting/thought-provoking/exciting/fun or somewhere near that description. Rough Edges Art Productions (REAP) is a group of artists and art lovers who come together to promote and present new and emerging visual artists, musicians, dancers, filmmakers and poets engaged in challenging, and experimental work. Our exhibition program is virtual and features a new artist every month. REAP offers classes at The Warehouse in Windsor and special events at Dirt Salon on Bartholomew Avenue in Hartford.
